Role Overview: Data Management Professional in Tech Leadership
As a Tech Lead - Data Management, you will be instrumental in shaping the data governance landscape, data modeling, and the overall data architecture for the organization. You’ll collaborate with data stewards, owners, and application developers to ensure data models and governance structures meet both business requirements and technical specifications.
Primary Skills and Experience Required
Candidates should have at least 8 years of relevant experience in data management and analysis, specifically in the following key areas:
- Data Modeling: Conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, with the ability to create data flow diagrams, semantic models, and taxonomies.
- Semi-Structured & Unstructured Data Management: Proficiency in handling complex data formats.
- Data Governance: Knowledge of federated governance models, including collaboration with data owners, stewards, and custodians.
- Metadata Management & Cataloging: Experience with metadata catalog tools for data management.
- Technical Proficiency in Data Storage and Cloud Technologies: Expertise in using SQL, Parquet, Graph databases, AWS, Azure (Purview, Glue), and tools such as ER Studio Data Architect or Erwin.
