Key Responsibilities
Indirect Tax and Reporting:
- Prepare monthly VAT submissions for UK facilities with a high volume of transactions.
- Perform monthly US GAAP closings related to indirect tax accounts for assigned legal entities.
- Create and maintain VAT reconciliations with low-to-medium complexity for balance sheets.
Audit and Compliance:
- Support statutory audits by preparing tax schedules and responding to audit queries.
- Collaborate with legal entity managers and global tax teams to address indirect tax questions and provide necessary documentation.
Management Information Support:
- Provide MIS reports for management and support corporate requests, including yearly tax audits, GST annual audits, and 10K/10Q-related indirect tax accounts.
Tax Filing and Coordination:
- Assist in filing tax returns in coordination with global tax teams and external consultants.
- Support tax audits and assessments by providing the required data and insights.
Process Improvement and Automation:
- Participate in process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and built-in accounting processes.
- Implement data analytics, robotics, and dashboard tools like Tableau to enhance reporting efficiency.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
Educational Background:
- CA with 2–3 years of experience, or Non-CA with 2–4 years of VAT/GST and indirect tax expertise.
- Experience with Big 4 firms is preferred.

Accuracy and Attention to Detail:
- Strong focus on precision and error-free outputs.
- Develop and use checklists for quality assurance.
Analytical Thinking:
- Ability to identify root causes of problems and develop effective solutions.
- Use tools like flowcharts and Pareto charts to analyze data patterns.

- Deliver clear and actionable feedback.
- Create well-structured reports and presentations.
Time Management:
- Handle multiple priorities effectively without compromising productivity.
- Adapt to changing demands and manage concurrent activities.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in tax regulations and compliance.
- Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Tableau and robotics.
