Job Overview
The Transaction Risk Investigator role is part of Amazon’s Transaction Risk Management Team, a pivotal department responsible for identifying and eliminating e-commerce risks. This is a seasonal, fixed-term contract (FTC) position for 12 months. Employees will work remotely from one of the eligible states across India, providing flexibility and convenience.
Key Responsibilities
As a Transaction Risk Investigator, you will:
Investigate E-commerce Risks: Analyze transactions to detect and eliminate fraud and other risks associated with e-commerce operations.
Authenticate Customers and Transactions: Use excellent judgment and problem-solving skills to validate customer identities and transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
Communicate Effectively: Maintain clear and concise communication with department management, risk analysts, engineers, and other stakeholders to achieve goals.
Work Independently: Make complex investigation decisions autonomously, with minimal supervision.
Maintain Quality Standards: Uphold productivity and quality assurance benchmarks while contributing to the overall development of the department.
Basic Qualifications
Language Proficiency: Excellent written and spoken English skills, with the ability to craft grammatically correct and concise responses.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to communicate complex transactional issues effectively to internal and external customers.
Problem-solving Abilities: Demonstrated skills in logical analysis and decision-making.

Additional Role Details
Shift Requirements: Rotational shifts in a 24/7 work environment, changing every 3-4 months.
Weekly Off: Two consecutive rotational days off, which also change every 3-4 months.
Work Location: Remote, with eligible states including Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Punjab, and Kerala.
Compensation and Employment Details
Salary Range: ₹3.25 to ₹4.25 LPA.
