Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant I, you will:

1. Transaction Analysis:

   • Analyze financial transactions and ensure they align with US GAAP and Indian GAAP standards.
   • Understand transaction flow and dependencies to ensure accurate financial recordings.

2. Journal Entries and Reconciliations:

   • Prepare and review journal entries across various accounting functions.
   • Identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring deadlines are met.

3. Month-End Close Process:

   • Support month-end financial close by preparing timely journal entries.
   • Analyze account fluctuations and perform essential accounting tasks.

4. Accounts Payable and Receivable:

   • Process client and vendor invoices to ensure accurate payments or cash receipts.
   • Identify and address anomalies proactively.

5. Financial Reporting and Compliance:

   • Uphold integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting.
   • Ensure compliance with local and national financial regulations.

6. Audit Support and Projects:

   • Organize and provide critical documents for internal and external audits.
   • Lead or participate in accounting projects as required.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in financial systems and standards, including US GAAP and Indian GAAP.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with global teams.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in financial software and tools is an advantage.
