Your Role: Revenue Accounting Specialist
As a Revenue Accounting Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance and accuracy in revenue recognition processes. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll help streamline processes and provide support for audits, special projects, and contract reviews. This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals eager to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract Review: Analyze customer contracts for compliance with revenue recognition policies (ASC 606).
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Legal, Credit & Collections, and other departments.
- Audit Support: Prepare audit packages for quarterly and year-end revenue reviews.
- Financial Reporting: Conduct timely period-close activities and maintain accurate documentation.
- Special Projects: Contribute to SSP studies and accounting memos.
Your Impact

Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years in revenue recognition audits or reviews, preferably in a high-growth software company or public accounting firm.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or economics (advanced degrees or certifications like CA, CPA, or CMA preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel functions (e.g., Pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and experience with SAP revenue accounting (RAR is a plus).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, time management, and attention to detail.
