Role Overview

As an Engineer I - Chat Data Analysis & NLP, you will be responsible for improving the performance of our chatbot by analyzing chat data, developing NLP pipelines, and creating impactful data visualizations for key stakeholders. Your work will directly enhance the chatbot’s understanding and response accuracy, leading to better customer interactions. This is a collaborative role where you will work closely with cross-functional teams to build solutions that drive meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be involved in:

• Chat Data Analysis: Use advanced data analysis techniques to identify trends in chat data and extract actionable insights.
• Python Development: Write and maintain scalable Python code, ensuring system efficiency and introducing new features to improve chatbot performance.
• NLP Pipeline Development: Build and optimize Natural Language Processing (NLP) pipelines to enhance the chatbot’s ability to understand and respond to user queries accurately.
• Kibana Dashboards: Design and implement visually compelling Kibana dashboards to present chat data to stakeholders, helping them make informed decisions.
• Splashboard UI Development: Collaborate with design and development teams to create an intuitive user interface for Splashboard, ensuring a seamless experience for end users.
• Prompt Tuning: Work on optimizing prompts for our 2.0 chatbot system by analyzing chat data and improving engagement based on findings.

Required Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Chat Data Analysis & NLP Experience: Proven experience in chat data analysis and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
• Python Development: Strong proficiency in Python, with experience using libraries such as NLTK and spaCy.
• Kibana Dashboards: Hands-on experience in creating dashboards using Kibana or similar visualization tools.
• UI Development: Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for UI development.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to work in a collaborative environment to solve complex problems.
• Communication Skills: Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Master’s Degree: A master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Machine Learning Experience: Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Chatbot Development Platforms: Experience working with chatbot platforms like Dialogflow or Rasa.
• Elasticsearch Expertise: Knowledge of Elasticsearch and related tools for handling and analyzing large datasets.
• SaaS or Startup Experience: Background in working with SaaS or tech startups, where agility and innovation are key.
