Position Overview
As a Front-End Developer at Pattern, you’ll work closely with designers and project managers to bring concepts to life. Your primary responsibility will be implementing visually appealing and highly functional user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Additionally, you will utilize Webflow to streamline web design and ensure our sites deliver top-notch performance across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- UI Development: Develop and design responsive and visually appealing user interfaces that meet brand guidelines and project requirements.
- HTML/CSS: Write clean, semantic, and maintainable HTML and CSS code, optimized for performance and accessibility.
- JavaScript: Use JavaScript to develop interactive features, enhance user experience, and add functionality to web pages.
- Webflow: Leverage Webflow to create and manage web designs efficiently, collaborating with other designers and developers to execute project goals.
- Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure websites function seamlessly across all browsers and devices for a smooth user experience.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously work on optimizing the speed and load times of websites.
- Accessibility: Ensure that all websites adhere to web accessibility standards, making them inclusive for all users.
- Collaboration: Partner with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality websites on time and according to specifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following:
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience working with Webflow or similar web design tools.
- Knowledge of responsive web design principles, ensuring your designs look great on all screen sizes.
- An eye for detail, with the ability to code designs pixel-perfect, matching them exactly as intended by the design team.
- Problem-solving and debugging skills to troubleshoot issues and implement efficient solutions.
