About the Role
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Connector development team. In this role, you will focus on enhancing performance, reliability, and analytical capabilities for our customers who rely on understanding their production databases. Your responsibilities will be diverse, including software patching, building database drivers, and optimizing sync services operating on our global Kubernetes compute cluster. You will also play a crucial role in ensuring your team’s technical excellence through code reviews, architectural contributions, and mentoring junior colleagues.
Technologies You’ll Use
- Languages & Frameworks: Java
- Databases: Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL
- Cloud & Containerization: Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, GCP

What You’ll Do
- Develop core features of the product.
- Write connectors to integrate with various source systems.
- Contribute to feature enhancements and bug fixes.
Skills We’re Looking For
- Technical Skills: Strong coding, technical, and problem-solving skills with 2.5+ years of professional experience in writing Java-based applications in a production environment.
- Distributed Systems: Experience with reliable distributed systems, particularly those managing high-volume data under strict SLAs.
- Best Practices: Ability to write well-structured Java code that follows programming best practices.
- Software Design: Skill in specifying software design that meets project requirements.
- Cloud Platforms: Expertise in working with popular cloud platforms, cloud-based APIs, and databases.
- Team Collaboration: Strong team player who can troubleshoot existing code issues.
