Position Summary
This role focuses on delivering data analytics solutions specifically for US healthcare projects. The Data Analyst will work closely with clients to analyze user requirements, design and develop databases, and provide ongoing support for complex database applications. This role requires a solid foundation in database engineering, data warehousing, and relational database systems to ensure robust data management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement: Actively participate in client and project meetings to assess data needs and review design specifications, ensuring alignment with user requirements.
- Database Design & Development: Design, develop, and maintain moderately complex databases, addressing the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
- Standardization & Optimization: Establish standards and models for monitoring database capacity and performance, implementing coding routines as needed for data import, export, and automation.
- Application Analysis: Conduct thorough reviews of applications before release to production, ensuring that the software aligns with build management practices.
- Backup & Recovery: Develop procedures for data backup, recovery, archiving, and purging to ensure data integrity and security.
- Technology Evaluation: Stay updated on emerging tools and technologies, providing recommendations on new or updated processes or products for potential implementation.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members.
Basic Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering, computer science, business administration, or related field (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of six years in database engineering, design, and development.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in relational data modeling, data warehousing, and relational databases (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle).
- Database Development: Familiarity with database development methodologies, design, and implementation.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for client interaction and team collaboration.
