About the Role

Far from being siloed, the Data team works closely with product teams, seeing the immediate impact of their work. Using advanced machine learning algorithms and in-depth data analysis, they deliver fully automated, self-improving solutions.
As a Data Scientist in the Credit team, you’ll be directly involved in building and optimizing models for the entire retail credit lifecycle. Working with experts in Product, Design, Engineering, and Data Science, you’ll deliver data-driven solutions that propel the company forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Model Development: Build models across the retail credit lifecycle, enhancing Revolut’s credit services.
- Algorithm Improvement: Refine current algorithms and develop new proofs of concept to boost performance.
- Impactful Problem Solving: Drive product improvements using rigorous data analysis and machine learning techniques.
- Research and Development: Conduct research and develop proofs of concept that evolve into data-driven products.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, Engineers, and Data Scientists to solve complex problems with creative solutions.
Key Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in a data science role within a credit institution.
- Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in a STEM field (Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data science tools, including Python, SQL, and production tools.
- Statistical Knowledge: Strong grounding in probability and statistics for effective problem diagnosis.
- Mindset: Ability to see the big picture, diagnose challenges accurately, and design innovative solutions.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with Product Owners and business leads.
