Job Title: Customer Service Officer
Job Purpose: As a Customer Service Officer, your main role will be to drive sales and expand the distribution of the company’s products within your assigned territory. You will be responsible for meeting sales targets and strengthening relationships with customers and retailers.
Job Summary:
In this role, you will:
- Use Sales Skills and Drive Growth: Leverage your channel sales expertise in general trade to reach your sales targets. Personal selling will be a significant part of your role, as you will regularly visit markets to promote products and strengthen relationships.
- Enhance Market Position: Strategically analyze and identify ways to elevate the company’s standing in the market, ensuring excellent customer service and attention to clients' needs.
- Negotiate and Develop Partnerships: Work closely with retail super stockists (RS) and assist in training their teams, focusing on building effective customer management strategies to expand business opportunities.
- Monitor Competition: Stay informed about competitors' actions in the market and relay this information to the branch to decide on appropriate responses and tactics.
- Manage Performance and Infrastructure: Assess the RS’s performance and the efficiency of their sales teams, taking corrective actions where necessary to bridge infrastructure gaps.
- Coordinate Brand Promotions: Plan and execute promotional activities within budget, consulting with superiors to align brand events with company objectives.
Key Requirements:
- Education: A minimum of a full-time graduate degree is required.
- Experience: At least 2 years in channel sales, with specific expertise in general trade, handling distributors, and driving revenue growth.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in ROI (Return on Investment) calculations.
- Competency in RS distribution management and planning sales strategy.
- Ability to effectively plan and execute promotional activities.
- Good communication skills in English and the local language to facilitate effective collaboration.
