Qualifications:
completed Master's degree or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Operations Research, Physics, Economics, Applied Mathematics, or similar quantitative discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Relevant internship or work experience with data. Experience in quantitative methodologies with statistics.
Experience with statistical software (e.g., R, Python, S-Plus, SAS, or related platforms.
YOUR ROLE:
you will have to mine data to identify opportunities for google and their clients to use more efficiently from enhancing advertising to study users behaviour.
you will have to work with engineers , product managers , sales executive and marketing teams .
your work is not only limited to identify the problem but you you will have to find solutions also.
you work with engineers to analyze and interpret data .
since youu are a data scientist , you work will be evaluating and improving google products.
also in this role , you will be working on Ads Insights and measurements. your role will be developing new ideas and methods that drive ad measurements and business generation.
