Job Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst, you will be at the forefront of deriving actionable insights from complex datasets. Your key responsibilities include:
- Data Collection & Organization: Collecting, cleaning, and organizing large datasets from diverse sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Data Analysis & Insights: Using statistical methods, machine learning techniques, and data visualization tools to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies in data.
- Data Modeling: Developing and maintaining data models to represent business operations and support organizational decision-making.
- Dashboard & Report Creation: Building interactive dashboards and reports to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Documentation: Documenting analysis procedures and results to ensure seamless knowledge transfer within the organization.
Technical and Professional Requirements
To excel in this role, you must possess:
- Experience: At least 5+ years in a Data Analyst or similar role with a proven ability to handle large datasets.
- Data Pipeline Expertise: Designing and validating data pipelines for streamlined data processing.
- Advanced Analytical Skills: Proficiency in statistical methods, machine learning, and data mining techniques.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Programming & Tools: Expertise in SQL, Python, PySpark.
- Visualization Tools: Experience with Grafana and Looker.
- Big Data & Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with Prometheus, Carbon, Clickhouse, Kafka, HDFS, ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and GCP Data Analytics (Google Container Registry).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to derive meaningful insights from complex datasets.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Business Acumen: Understanding the broader implications of data findings on business operations.
