Role Overview: Cloud Support Specialist
Atlassian is hiring a Cloud Support Specialist to provide top-notch support to their cloud customers. You’ll join a passionate global team that focuses on resolving issues, troubleshooting, and ensuring customers have the best experience with Atlassian products like Compass and Jira Product Discovery (JPD).
This is a perfect role for individuals who enjoy solving problems, communicating with customers, and collaborating in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve configuration issues related to Atlassian Cloud products, primarily focusing on Compass and Jira Product Discovery.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by troubleshooting, solving, and answering customer questions in a clear and concise manner.
- Work with a globally distributed support team, collaborating and challenging thought processes to improve service quality and capabilities.
- Use your technical expertise, including knowledge base articles, community forums, and tools like Browser Developer Tools, to deliver the best solutions to customer issues.
- Actively participate in team discussions, guide collaborative improvements, and develop or adopt new capabilities to better serve customers.
- Troubleshoot technical problems, including network issues and REST API interactions, and create workarounds for any product bugs.
- Occasionally represent Atlassian at technical conferences, meetups, or other events, showcasing your expertise and contributing to the broader community.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of customer or technical support experience, ideally in cloud or SaaS environments.
- Experience working in a globally distributed team, with strong self-initiative and perseverance.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication, with the ability to support customers through email, Slack, and video conferencing tools.
- Familiarity with Browser Developer Tools and experience troubleshooting network issues.
- Understanding of how REST APIs work and experience using logging tools like Splunk or Logstash.
- Jira Software administration experience and GraphQL knowledge are a plus but not mandatory.
