The Role: Senior Account Executive
As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing major client accounts and helping them achieve their business goals. Your primary goal is to increase customer satisfaction, retention, and account growth. You will be responsible for managing a quota of $800,000+ of contract value within a defined territory of major client accounts.
This is an exciting opportunity to sell Gartner’s products and services at the C-level within large enterprise organizations, giving you the chance to work with some of the brightest minds in the industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Drive customer satisfaction by managing key client accounts and ensuring retention and account growth.
- Sales Quota: Manage a quota of $800,000+ of contract value within a designated territory of major client accounts.
- Gartner’s Sales Methodology: Master and consistently execute Gartner’s proven sales strategies to deliver results.
- Account Planning & Territory Management: Develop account plans and manage your territory to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Forecast Accuracy: Ensure accurate forecasting of sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Competitive Knowledge: Stay updated on Gartner’s products, services, and competitors to maintain a strong competitive edge.
- In-depth Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of Gartner’s product portfolio and how they can address client needs.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you’ll need to be a sales professional with a proven track record of success in consultative sales. We’re looking for someone who is highly driven, intellectually curious, and able to build excellent relationships with C-level executives. You should be passionate about solving complex business challenges and helping clients succeed.
Required Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of consultative sales experience: Preferably in a high-tech environment, with a successful history of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
- Executive Presence: Strong ability to engage and build relationships with C-level executives in large enterprise organizations.
- Sales Acumen: Proven ability to execute the full life cycle of the sales process and deliver impactful results.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree: A degree in business, sales, or a related field is desired.
- Strong Presentation Skills: Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for presentations.
- Client Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to develop long-term, trusted relationships with clients.
- Drive and Intellect: A combination of intellect, energy, and motivation to exceed goals.
