About the Role: HR Manager
As the founding HR Manager, you’ll lead Optimite’s people strategy, managing everything from talent acquisition to employee engagement. This role calls for a proactive HR professional who can establish core HR processes and cultivate a strong team culture aligned with Optimite’s growth goals. You’ll work cross-functionally with departments such as design, development, marketing, and operations, guiding team members through recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities
This HR Manager role emphasizes building a scalable HR foundation, focusing on three core areas: Talent Acquisition (35%), Onboarding & Culture (30%), and Performance & Employee Engagement (35%).
Talent Acquisition (35%)
- Recruitment Oversight: Drive hiring across all departments with plans to bring in up to 30 new team members over the next year.
- Job Description Development: Craft compelling job descriptions that reflect Optimite’s values and attract quality candidates.
- Strategic Hiring Process: Develop strategies for efficient hiring, keeping both candidate quality and team fit in focus.
- Performance Metrics: Track and optimize metrics such as Time to Hire, Candidate Quality, and Offer Acceptance Rate.
Onboarding & Culture (30%)
- Effective Onboarding: Create onboarding processes that help new hires integrate smoothly and align with Optimite’s values.
- Department Collaboration: Work with department heads to design 30-60-90 day plans to ensure new hires are positioned for success.
- Team Building: Promote a culture of continuous learning and growth through team-building activities and initiatives.
- Key Metrics: Measure success through Employee Retention Rate, Onboarding Satisfaction, and Cultural Fit alignment.
Performance & Employee Engagement (35%)
- Performance Management: Guide the performance management process with goal setting, regular reviews, and feedback cycles.
- Employee Engagement Initiatives: Foster a connected, motivated workforce through engagement activities and feedback channels.
- Retention Metrics: Track metrics such as Employee Engagement Score, Performance Review Completion, and Retention Rate to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications and Skills

- Experience: 3+ years in HR, particularly in recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement.
