Role Overview
As a Business Analyst, you’ll be instrumental in tracking and analyzing key business metrics across smallcase’s marketing, growth, and business finance teams. This role involves a high level of collaboration, reporting accuracy, and efficiency in data management, with a significant focus on driving automation in reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Drive Business Metric Reporting: Establish and monitor metrics across various departments to assess success, ensuring consistency and accuracy in reporting.
- Identify KPIs: Work with senior business stakeholders to propose and monitor KPIs for projects, supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Problem Analysis: Assist teams by analyzing critical problem statements and providing insights that inform business strategies.
- Report Automation: Enhance efficiency by automating reporting processes, allowing teams to access data-driven insights quickly.
What You Bring
- Experience: 1-2 years as a Business Analyst, with a strong understanding of business, finance, and marketing metrics.
- Data Orientation: Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Python, Mixpanel, CleverTap, MS Excel, and similar tools is essential.
- Collaboration Skills: You’re able to work effectively with senior stakeholders, communicating insights and making data actionable.
- Growth Mindset: A proactive approach, with a high sense of ownership and a desire to excel.
