About the Role
As a Manager, Business Analyst, you’ll provide comprehensive business analysis, focusing on Return on Investment (ROI) modeling, benchmarking, and creating monthly reports. You'll collaborate with clients, finance, and senior management to maximize revenue, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure efficient client billing processes. This role involves handling data-driven projects, performing client and internal reporting, and supporting BCD’s mission to streamline travel management for our large and complex client base.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Analyze and Enhance Performance: Study data patterns to identify cost-saving measures and productivity enhancements, delivering recommendations for financial and operational improvement.
- Monitor Contractual Performance: Identify areas where clients exceed performance commitments and explore renegotiation opportunities.
- Increase EBITDA: Work closely with internal teams to identify opportunities to enhance profitability through effective financial management.
- Manage Client Billing: Ensure timely, accurate billing for clients, supporting maximized revenue.
- Provide Data-Driven Recommendations: Identify financial trends that impact the business and advise senior management on strategies to optimize expenses and increase revenues.
- Generate Accurate, Timely Reports: Deliver monthly and quarterly reports, ensuring data accuracy, and provide insights that support client and internal business plans.
- Support SLA and KPI Tracking: Develop reports that monitor internal and client performance, focusing on service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Drive Automation: Lead automation initiatives to streamline report generation and improve reporting efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; relevant work experience may substitute for formal education.
- Experience: At least six years of business analysis experience, with a preference for experience in the travel industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP, word processing, spreadsheets, and Excel; knowledge of ADS/Global MAX is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong capability to interpret data, recognize patterns, and draw insights that support financial decisions.
- Attention to Detail: A keen focus on data quality and report accuracy, essential for successful decision-making.
- Collaborative and Self-Driven: Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively across departments.
