About the Role

The Data Analyst position is a pivotal role within our Finance Team. You will manage and analyze product end-to-end costs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives throughout the lifecycle—from production to invoicing. This role also involves supporting Haleon’s sustainability ambitions through high-value, cross-functional activities.

As a Data Analyst in the Invoicing and Data Cx Team, you will collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders to maintain data integrity, optimize supply chain processes, and contribute to financial reporting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities include:

  1. Data Management:

    • Configure and maintain supply chain data in SAP ECC.

    • Ensure data integrity and accurate invoicing between entities.

    • Periodically review and update standard costs based on material status, shipments, or market changes.

  2. Variance Analysis:

    • Identify discrepancies between sign-off and standard costs, Bill-of-Materials (BOM).

    • Provide insights and recommendations for corrective actions.

  3. Reporting:

    • Prepare and present detailed reports, including product cost breakdowns, margin analysis, profitability assessments, and buy/sell evaluations across platforms such as ICT, Snow, ECC, and APO/SNP.

  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Work with procurement, logistics, and planning teams to define data requirements.

    • Support technical issues related to data management tools like SAP.

    • Ensure seamless supply chain processes by minimizing delays due to invoicing or data activities.

  5. Process Optimization:

    • Implement changes to business and data processes to ensure quality and compliance with Trading Partner Finance (TPF) requirements.

    • Resolve open issues, address escalations, and establish preventive measures.

  6. Compliance and Auditing:

    • Ensure adherence to Sox controls and Haleon’s Group Internal Control Framework.

    • Respond to audit queries promptly and accurately.

Qualifications and Skills

Essential Qualifications:

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Excel.

  • Fluency in English.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience in enterprise-level financial processes and systems.

  • Proven ability to manage and maintain the integrity of large datasets.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Interpersonal Competencies:

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to collaborate with culturally diverse teams and reconcile differences.

  • Effective communication skills to influence internal and external stakeholders.

  • Resilience and calmness under pressure while managing competing demands.

Preferred Experience:

  • 4–6+ years of experience in supply chain processes, including trade routes, invoicing, and credit notes.

  • Knowledge of SAP costing and financial reporting in a global organization.

  • Familiarity with Sox compliance and working in a controls environment.

  • Experience in the FMCG industry and global supply chain IT systems.

  • Understanding of international business operating models.
