As a Software Engineer Trainee, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and troubleshooting software programs for computer-based systems. You will collaborate with technical leads, product teams, and operations teams to create optimal solutions tailored to business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Understanding Application Requirements
Participate in reviewing specifications to comprehend application changes and business needs.Programming and Development
- Write and modify basic programs to translate specifications into code.
- Apply technical skills to produce deliverables like specifications, unit test scripts, and documentation.
Testing and Quality Assurance
- Create and execute unit test plans to ensure code meets requirements.
- Support quality assurance, user acceptance testing, and post-implementation phases to ensure application integrity.
Documentation and Monitoring
- Document program changes to provide clear guidelines for future reference.
- Monitor progress against task estimates to provide updates on project status.
Required Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
Education:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or related fields (BE/BTech, ME/MTech, MCA).
- Minimum 65% aggregate and no backlogs.
Technical Skills:
- Strong programming skills in Java, C#, or Python.
- Good understanding of Relational and NoSQL database concepts.
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
