Role Overview
The Data Analyst position at Pure Storage is an opportunity to work at the forefront of business insights and data strategies. The role involves designing dashboards, analyzing business needs, and delivering actionable insights through data visualization.
Key Responsibilities
- Dashboard Development: Lead the process of creating dashboards, including requirements gathering, development, testing, and delivery.
- Data Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Executive Reporting: Develop data visualizations and reports that simplify complex problems, enabling decision-making at the executive level.
- Roadmap Planning: Define a roadmap for business insights and data strategies aligned with stakeholder objectives.
- Proactive Analytics: Anticipate business challenges and provide targeted analysis to address them effectively.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular interaction with stakeholders to manage expectations and report development progress.
- Technical Collaboration: Partner with development teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
- Data Optimization: Participate in data warehouse design, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
- Tool Ecosystem: Assess and recommend improvements for the business intelligence tools and data stack.
- End-user Support: Train and support end-users to ensure dashboards are adopted successfully.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience:
- 5–10 years in Sales or Revenue Operations, with hands-on experience in Salesforce data.
- 4+ years of expertise in Tableau or similar BI tools.
- Proficiency in SQL or other data manipulation languages; familiarity with Snowflake is a plus.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or analytical fields.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Soft Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changes.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills.
- Strong relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration.
- Additional Skills:
- Experience with iPaaS tools is advantageous.
- Project management and financial modeling capabilities.
