Position Overview
The HR Generalist will lead Quora’s HR efforts in India, working closely with global HR teams and local leadership. This role is critical in ensuring seamless onboarding, compliance with Indian labor laws, and fostering an engaging and inclusive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Operations Management: Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and vendor management while collaborating with global teams to maintain compliance with Indian labor laws.
- Recruitment: Conduct market research, source talent, review resumes, and manage the recruitment pipeline to attract top candidates.
- Employee Engagement: Enhance employee relations, manage performance evaluations, and ensure effective HR tooling and support.
- Compliance and Committees: Provide guidance on Indian HR statutory compliance and lead initiatives such as the POSH Committee.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with multiple stakeholders to optimize HR strategies and processes for the India region.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related discipline.
- At least 4 years of HR experience, including 2 years of compliance management in India.
- Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to collaborate with US-based teams across time zones.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resource Management.
- Experience with a Professional Employer Organization (PEO).
- Proven ability to create and manage HR and recruitment programs.
