Roles & Responsibilities
As a Network Engineer at Wipro, your responsibilities will include:
- Validating orders as per the defined scope of work.
- Assigning and validating mandatory attributes for network configuration.
- Coordinating with Order Managers to finalize the scope before building configurations.
- Reviewing network designs shared by the design team.
- Building network configurations based on the approved scope and design.
- Participating in customer edge device activation calls and deploying the required configurations.
- Leading calls with customers and resolving configuration-related issues.
- Troubleshooting network issues while coordinating with various stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience:
- Freshers with networking certifications or courses completed from a recognized institute.
- Experienced candidates with a minimum of 6 months in networking can also apply.
- Skills:
- Telecom domain or IT-related knowledge.
- SDWAN training or certification preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Logical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts with weekend flexibility.
