We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Analyst – Business Consulting
Principal Responsibilities
- Understand complex issues and review large amounts of data to identify the appropriate action/ solution.
- Work collaboratively with other teams within and outside of base location to perform core day to day activities as well as identifying, understanding, and communicating, issues or challenges which may occur and where possible recommending actions to manage or resolve.
- Take responsibility for identifying, understanding, and communicating product development opportunities and associated business outcomes.
- Build business cases and develop Terms of References / Business Requirement document as applicable and procure approvals from the relevant Project Managers & Sponsors.
- Execute the assigned projects / analysis as per the agreed timelines and with accuracy and quality.
- Facilitate and manage regular meetings with senior managers, key stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SME), and delivery partners such as remediation teams.
- Contribute to team development, effectiveness, and success by sharing knowledge and best practice.
- Assertively challenge and manage all stakeholders including Senior Managers to take action within a deadline.
- Responsible for publishing regular updates on the projects and develop effective business Market intelligence (MIs)
- The individual will also continuously reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices and the impact of new technology.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of knowledge/experience on data management and data governance
- Understanding of the financial industry gained through experience or training courses.
- Understanding data lineage, profiling & data quality measurement
- Advanced Structured Query Language (SQL), and SQL programming knowledge. Knowledge on Extract Transform Load (ETL) Process
- Knowledge and experience on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Coding Tools - e.g., Big Query
- Knowledge and experience on Python, Jupyter Notebook/Spyder/Pandas/Numpy/PySpark/ Scala is required along with knowledge on Data Visualization tools – e.g., Qliksense
- Implementation and Delivery Management
- Business Analysis - addressing business needs and recommending solutions. Requirement Gathering and Business Requirement Document (BRD) creation.
- High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy.
- Project Management Skills, with prior experience in managing change, build and implementation/ integration.
