Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic team at Pinkerton. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a passion for data-driven decision-making, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that drive our strategic initiatives.
Essential Functions:
- Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
- Gather, clean, and organize large datasets from diverse sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain databases, data systems, and data collection processes.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies.
- Utilize statistical methods to interpret data sets and provide actionable recommendations.
- Create comprehensive reports and dashboards using advanced data visualization tools (e.g., Google Data Studio, Tableau).
- Present analytical findings to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and marketing professionals to understand business needs.
- Communicate insights effectively to drive informed decision-making across the organization.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analytics.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements based on analytical findings.
- All other duties, as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio or Tableau.
