Position Overview
As a Data Analyst-1, you will play a vital role in supporting the Data Governance Office within the Process Development & Master Data Department. Your primary responsibility will be to manage master data for sites, customers, and products across the EMEA region, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Master Data Management:
- Ensure accurate and timely setup and maintenance of master data for sites, customers, and products.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure data quality and compliance with governance rules.
- Create and maintain master data within relevant systems.
Process Management:
- Proactively analyze business and data processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop detailed process documentation at L3 & L4 levels.
- Manage and resolve data-related queries and requests using tools like Asana.
- Enhance tools and workflows for better query and request management.
Reporting and Coordination:
- Collaborate with Data Analysts at HQ and follow their directives.
- Generate and report updates on JIRA for relevant data issues.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring
Essential Skills:
- Strong analytical skills to manage and interpret complex data.
- Experience with tools like Asana, JIRA, and master data management systems.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities for cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in developing process documentation and adhering to governance rules.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience in master data management and data governance.
- Knowledge of EMEA region business practices (a plus).
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
